To all Sugar Creek Friends

Jerry and I are back home in Sugar Creek, I was so happy when we turned off the express way on to RT 64 that I cried, Jerald said “don’t cry now, were home” but they were tears of happiness.

I would like to thank each and everyone for all the get well cards and prayers for my recovery when I was in the hospital and nursing home and since returning home. It must have been everybody’s thoughts and prayers that helped me to improve so quickly. After I woke up in the nursing home I tried to read the cards and it helped me to bring back my memory. I am doing much better now with help from Jerry and
being back home in Sugar Creek among all our friends.

Hi

Ed had eye surgery  on his right eye, 2 weeks ago and is now able to see again with it.  the Doctor took a biopsy of the fluid which he removed and it turns out it is a fungus.  It evidentaly started with a kidney infection ( which he was unaware of ) and spread to his eyes and lungs.  Hard to believe that this could cause all his problems.
He is now being treated with antibiodics and hopefully will solve all  his problems.  too bad they couldn't find all this out when he was in the hospital having all sorts of tests.
We still have to make a coulple more trips to the Ivey Institute in London.
He is also starting to feel stronger and hopefully be his old self by the time we leave for Florida.
